Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bartender to join our Bar Team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for producing and serving drinks at high volume in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the kitchen and front of house team to deliver exceptional standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve drinks to our guests, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Product Knowledge: Commit drink and food specifications to memory, engaging with our products and offerings.
  • Event Execution: Execute private and corporate events, delivering uniform drinks as per Clays guidelines.
  • Communication: Communicate the business and technology to our guests, understanding our technology and making incredible recommendations based on your knowledge and training.
  • Setup and Maintenance: Set up for service, maintaining Health & Safety expectations and cooperating with floor, host, and kitchen staff in a calm and professional manner.
  • Training and Development: Complete the curriculum of the Clayers Academy and be a brand champion, maintaining expectations and delivery at all times.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a cocktail bar, with excellent knowledge of classic cocktails.
  • Skills: Ability to work under pressure, excellent written and verbal communication in English, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Passionate about hospitality and creating amazing experiences, honest with strong moral principles, and able to take initiative and solve problems calmly.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Salary: £11.75 per hour, plus £2.25 per hour Tronc service charge and monthly Tronc bonuses.
  • Benefits: 32 working days holiday pro rata each year, including bank holidays, with an increasing allocation up to a maximum of 36 days with length of service, colleague discounts, paid breaks, health care cash plan, career growth opportunities, celebration day, parental leave, employee assistance, volunteer day, birthday gift, pension scheme, and recognition and incentives.
