Location: West Cumbria
At Serco, we work with Asylum Accommodation and Support Services to provide temporary accommodation to individuals through the asylum system. As a Maintenance Operative, your role is crucial in ensuring all requested repairs are carried out to the required standard and within SLA deadlines.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with previous maintenance experience within a field relating to joinery, fitting, plumbing, painting & decorating etc. You will be a highly motivated individual who can manage your own workflow as well as work within a team when necessary.
As a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for the Health & Safety of yourself and that of all users of the property during and after works have been undertaken and completed.
You will be required to purchase and manage materials using a company account card from approved Serco suppliers only. Vehicles provided by the company will be inspected regularly by employees and kept in a professional and clean condition.
Flexible Working Pattern
- Monday to Friday hours from 8am to 5pm to meet the operational needs of the business.
On-Call Requirements & Out of Hours Working
- There will be a requirement to undertake out of hours on-call duties, working on a rota basis to ensure 24/7 emergency cover is provided as per our contractual responsibilities.
