Speedy Hire is the UK's leading provider of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant, and support services. We are seeking an experienced Plant Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of plant hire equipment in the region. This will involve working directly with other engineers in the depot and liaising regularly with drivers and the hire desk team to ensure repairs and maintenance of plant equipment are prioritised effectively.

$55,000 - $65,000 per annum

Job Description:

This role requires a proven ability to test and repair plant equipment to the highest standard, ideally gained within the hire industry or similar. NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in a relevant discipline is also required. A technical/engineering background is desirable.

  • Proven experience in testing and repairing plant equipment.
