About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Compliance Analyst to join our team at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data and identifying areas of risk and non-compliance.

The successful candidate will have a strong analytical background and excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to look for root causes and implement workable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data analysis and financial modeling to identify trends and patterns.
  • Develop reports of investigative findings, compile case file documentation, calculate sanctions and overpayments, and issue findings in accordance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 6-8 years of related experience in the healthcare industry, business, accounting, or finance; with at least two years of experience conducting data mining in the healthcare insurance industry, healthcare claim audits, or other claims-related experience.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $90,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
