About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a Senior Systems Design Engineer to join our APNT Engineering team, working on the development of Digital GPS Anti-Jam Systems and Alternative Navigation Solutions for the military market. You will provide technical expertise across the product lifecycle, from requirements capture to testing and certification activities.

The role involves supporting the System Design Authority and Systems Engineering Team Leaders in the development and management of project requirements, generation of technical documentation, and participation in technical design reviews. Additionally, you will contribute to the generation of bid proposal material and submission of bids in response to customer requests.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and support the development and implementation of system designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of project requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, design descriptions, and test plans
  • Participate in technical design reviews and provide input on system design and architecture
  • Support the preparation of bid proposals and respond to customer requests
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (STEM) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on design and development
  • Strong understanding of system design principles and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and lead cross-functional teams
