We are seeking a skilled and experienced Practice Nurse to join our dynamic team at Paxton Green Group Practice. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a primary care setting, working closely with GPs, other healthcare professionals, and the practice team. You will be expected to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and adhere to professional standards and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients in a primary care setting, including health screenings, vaccinations, and wound care.
- Work collaboratively with GPs and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of practice policies and procedures.
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification.
- Experience working in a primary care setting, preferably in a general practice or community health setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
