Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination
Attend and contribute to project handovers and kick-off meetings to ensure a thorough understanding of project requirements and objectives.
Purchasing and ProcurementProcure equipment and delivery services within agreed budgetary values, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Inventory ManagementOversee the receipt and inspection of goods, ensuring accurate documentation and claims for short deliveries or damaged stock.
Logistics and ShippingEnsure accurate documentation, including commercial invoices, tariff codes, declaration of conformity, and shipping DAP incoterms, for all dispatched goods.
Reporting and AnalysisGenerate and analyze purchasing and stock-related reports to inform business decisions.
Housekeeping and SafetyMaintain safe and efficient housekeeping within company storage locations, adhering to risk assessments and health & safety audits.
Policies and ProceduresContribute to the development of policies and procedures related to purchasing and logistics.
Quality AssuranceReview CRFs for projects to ensure accurate pricing and smart quotes, as well as shipping costs.
Continuous ImprovementDrive change and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Training and DevelopmentProvide training, coaching, and professional development to team members to enhance their knowledge and skills.
Competitive PricingSupport the pre-sales and accounts directors with price matching to ensure competitiveness in bids.
Technical SkillsUtilize Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software to perform duties efficiently.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be required to undertake ongoing external training in import, export procedures, tariff codes, and declaration of conformity to ensure compliance with country-specific regulations.
