Dentist Epidemiologist

Community Dental Services CIC is seeking a skilled Dentist to undertake Oral Health Surveys for adults and children in various regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting surveys in Leicestershire, Oxfordshire, and Northamptonshire. The role requires GDC registration and an active NHS performer number is desirable but not essential. The Dentist will need to have an interest in public health and/or previous experience within epidemiology. Training will be provided on the National protocol and clinical criteria as part of the calibration process. The survey involves adults aged over 65 years of age who will be examined in their nursing or care residence. The successful candidate will work on a part-time basis, 1-2 days per week by arrangement, and will be paid on an hourly basis: £28.70 per hour + mileage rate 45p per mile.
