The Commercial Property Team is seeking a qualified solicitor with 2-5 years of experience in commercial property law to join our Manchester office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to deliver outstanding client service. The role involves regular contact with clients and agents, providing updates, advice, and drafting documentation.

The team advises investors, lenders, commercial and residential developers, and high-profile entrepreneurs and estate owners across various sectors. The role offers an exciting variety of work, including landlord and tenant, residential and commercial development, and high-level transactional work for regional and national clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Handling a busy caseload
  • Liaising with supervisors to manage workload
  • Providing excellent client service
  • Developing relationships with clients
  • Supporting other team members as required
  • Effective liaison with other service line teams
  • Understanding and contributing to the team's objectives
  • Negotiating and drafting transactional paperwork, production of advice and guidance to clients
  • Working to promote the firm's values
  • Attending networking events

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of PQE in a commercial property department
  • Ability to manage own caseload with some supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organization and planning skills with the ability to prioritize work to meet strict timescales
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent client-facing skills
  • Accomplished in business development activities, with the ability to build a network of contacts
  • Strong self-motivated worker
  • Team player and willingness to work well in a team

Desirable experience includes familiarity with SOS case management systems.
