Job Title: Postal Delivery Driver

Location: Glasgow

Contract Length: Temporary ongoing

Pay Rate: £14.05 per hour

Working Hours: 5 days over 7

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Postal Delivery Driver to join our team in Glasgow. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and collect post and parcels at the local delivery office
  • Use a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries
  • Deliver mail and parcels to customers, walking at least 8 miles per day and carrying a bag that can weigh up to 16kg
  • Drive and deliver on foot, and push/pull a trolley during deliveries

Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points
  • Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices
