Job Title: Aerospace Inspector

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Aerospace Inspector. As a key member of our Inspection department, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of aircraft components using manual measuring tools and inputting data into our SAP system.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake detailed inspections of all components, excluding those requiring quarantine due to incidents or accidents.
  • Create and modify component overhaul/repair routes within SAP as needed.
  • Ensure accurate recording of information, including part numbers, serial numbers, and condition, in shop repair orders and SAP.
  • Liaise with colleagues and engineers to coordinate component repair and overhaul.
  • Train and mentor other team members as qualified.
  • Maintain a personal Practical Experience Record (PER) book.
  • Participate actively in daily departmental meetings.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in an aerospace engineering or equivalent environment.
  • Background in mechanical component inspection.
  • Proficiency in PC usage.
  • Previous experience working with SAP computer systems advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of inspection techniques and equipment.
  • Practical experience using imperial measurement tools.
