Merchandising Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser to join our field-based retail merchandising team. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective setup of fixtures, attractive display of products and promotions, and well-stocked shelves in high street retailers on behalf of exciting household name brands.

• This role involves working across various categories, including Gift Cards, Entertainment, and ad-hoc tasks.
• Confirmed working days/hours: 12 hours, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to pick up extra hours in neighbouring stores.

• Compliance and Standards: Adhere to merchandising standards, store policies, and health and safety guidelines.
• Product Placement and Replenishment: Arrange and organise products on shelves to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: Set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
• Strong Communication and Relationship Building: Build and maintain good working relationships with instore colleagues and provide accurate feedback to client account teams.

• Experience in merchandising, retail, and/or customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, using initiative to find solutions and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable with manual handling and willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items (paid extra).
• Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions about tasks.
• A full UK driving license and access to a car is required.

The estimated salary for this position is around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
