Job Title: Conveyancer

Are you a skilled Conveyancing Solicitor looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced property practice?

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join our team in South London, Dartford, or Maidstone. As a Conveyancer, you will be responsible for overseeing a busy caseload of freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, and re-mortgages, primarily acting for panel lenders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of property transactions, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and guidance throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Collaborate with junior assistants and support staff to ensure seamless case management.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in property law and regulations, applying this knowledge to deliver exceptional results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, panel lenders, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in conveyancing, preferably in a high-volume property practice.
  • Strong knowledge of property law, including lease extensions, shared ownerships, and commercial property sales and purchases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Case Management systems and IT literacy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple cases simultaneously.
