About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Statistician to join our Mental Health & Neuroscience Clinical Trials statistics research group at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN), King's College London. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical trials, working closely with clinicians and scientists to evaluate novel interventions and medications across the breadth of mental health and brain disorders.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in medical statistics, clinical trials, or a related field, with a strong understanding of study design and analysis methods in epidemiology and medical statistics. You will also have experience in statistical software and programming languages commonly used in clinical trial research, as well as a proven track record of publishing in leading clinical journals.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, analyze, and interpret clinical trials in the field of mental health research
* Work closely with clinicians and scientists to evaluate novel interventions and medications
* Develop and implement rigorous quality control measures to maintain data integrity and accuracy
* Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of teamwork and knowledge sharing
