Job Title: Enhanced Support Worker

We are recruiting for Enhanced Support Workers to join our dynamic service and team. As an Enhanced Support Worker, you will be working with young people to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key-working a caseload of young people, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
  • Undertaking initial and continuous assessments of needs and potential risks, agreeing levels of support and actions to professional standards.
  • Co-developing positive behaviour support plans with young people, identifying triggers and actions required to enable positive risk-taking.
  • Supporting young people to engage with agreed support programmes, including education, employment, and training opportunities.
  • Encouraging tenants to pay their rent and ensuring rent accounts are managed effectively.

Requirements:

  • Up to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or experience in the social care/charity sector.
  • Ability to adapt to challenging environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to plan, manage, and evaluate outcome-focused activities and support programmes.
  • Interpersonal skills to build relationships with young people in 1:1 and group settings.
