The Role

As a key member of our International Finance team, the Operational Costs Support Analyst will play a vital role in supporting the accurate control of multi-million pound budgets across various services and suppliers. This will ensure we receive excellent service and value for money for the business.

Key Responsibilities

* Supporting colleagues across International in managing invoices, raising purchase orders, and general cost control
* Creating, monitoring, and tracking purchase orders and invoicing
* Ensuring purchase orders are correctly authorised and processed within appropriate timescales
* Collaborating with stores and operations teams to validate invoices and track expenditure
* Supporting the management of suppliers to ensure service levels and expenditure delivered in line with expectations
* Monitoring and reporting of costs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and working collaboratively with suppliers, stores, and internal teams

About You

We are looking for an individual with excellent organisation and planning skills, strong Excel skills, and good written and verbal communication. A strong analytical and reporting ability, as well as a proactive and thorough approach with a keen eye for detail, is essential. As a team player, you should be able to self-manage, support colleagues, and share best practice. Additionally, being willing to start studying towards becoming an accountant is a plus.
