Warehouse Operations Manager

Are you a motivated leader with experience in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment? We're looking for a skilled Team Leader to join our team at Accept Recruitment in Leicester.
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the distribution center, managing and supporting a team of temporary staff in the picking, packing, and distribution of products. Your role will include ensuring that all team members are fully trained, working efficiently, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily operations within the DC, managing and supporting a team of temporary staff in the picking, packing, and distribution of products.
- Ensure that all team members are fully trained, working efficiently, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Liaise with managers, warehouse supervisors, and the recruitment agency to ensure staffing levels meet demand.
- Motivate and lead your team to meet daily targets, ensuring all stock is processed, stored, and dispatched correctly and on time.
- Maintain a high standard of operational efficiency to support the distribution of a wide range of products.
- Assist in handling operational challenges and work with management to ensure any issues are resolved promptly.
- Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail distribution environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team in a busy environment.
- Flexible with hours and shift patterns.
- Ability to meet deadlines and performance targets while maintaining a positive working atmosphere.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting is desirable.
- Own transport is essential.

Shift: Monday – Friday (plus Saturdays when required), 13:00 – 22:00, £13.50ph. Flexibility needed toward business needs, and in future the role may be changed to meet business requirements.
