About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Support Worker to join our Young People Support Team in Hackney. As a Support Worker, you will provide client-directed, person-centred support to help young people achieve their personal goals and aspirations for independent living, training, employment, and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and collaborate with young people to create and carry out a support plan designed around their needs and aspirations.
  • Provide information and inspiration, practical support, innovation, and encouragement to help young people achieve their goals.
  • Work alongside a team of Support Workers to provide a comprehensive support service to young people.
About You

You will have experience of working in support, supported housing, or advice services, with a focus on supporting young people to develop aspirations and form healthy relationships. You will have a drive for and commitment to equal rights and diversity, and a sound knowledge of safeguarding and risk assessments.

You will be a team-player, passionate about driving your own performance and development at work, and committed to delivering high-quality support to our clients. You will be flexible, creative, and able to work in a client-centred way, planning your work and deadlines to get the best for your clients.
