About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced IT Systems Architect to join our team at Barclays Bank PLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements and ensure measurable reliability, performance, availability, and ease of use.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of software engineering techniques, automation, and build engineering principles. They will also have experience with system configuration management tools, such as Chef and Ansible, and scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, and Bash.

In this role, you will work closely with product managers, architects, and other engineers to define IT Infrastructure requirements and devise solutions that align with business objectives. You will also be responsible for monitoring IT infrastructure and system performance to measure, identify, address, and resolve any potential issues, vulnerabilities, or outages.

We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including a bonus scheme, pension plan, and opportunities for career growth and professional development.
