Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Agent to join our onshore team in Scotland. As part of this team, you will play a key role in delivering large civil engineering projects that support the development of renewable energy infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be required to work out of our area offices initially, located in Inverness and Kilsyth, before progressing to site-based roles. A living away allowance will be provided to compensate for extended working periods away from home.

About the Role

  • As Site Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, setting personal examples by adhering to Company policies and procedures.
  • You will manage, supervise, and mentor the project team as necessary, adopting cost-conscious management practices to optimize resource utilization.
  • Implementation and promotion of Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies will also be expected, aligning with project BIM Execution Plans.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Establish and maintain effective relationships with RE staff and the supply chain, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to encourage repeat business through professional client and stakeholder engagement.
  3. Maintain accurate records for measurement and payment purposes, preparing all necessary site-based appointments with trained and experienced staff.

Your Qualifications

  • A Chartered status or equivalent from a recognized institution, such as the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), is preferred.
  • Experience managing sections of major projects or acting as sub-agent on similar projects will be highly valued.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant government legislation and working familiarity with construction techniques and contract law are essential.

Salary and Benefits
