Job Summary:

Enterprise Driver Recruitment is seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 driver for a temporary to permanent position with one of our clients, a leading breaker hire service.

The Role:

You will be responsible for delivering and collecting plant and hydraulic equipment, with varying delivery frequencies depending on the locality of drops. The successful candidate will need to be physically fit, as handballing and strapping down loads may be required. Knowledge of hydraulics or plant equipment is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and collect plant and hydraulic equipment
  • Secure loads and ensure safe transportation
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with varying delivery frequencies
  • Be flexible with working hours and occasional Saturdays

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) entitlement
  • Valid Driver Qualification Card
  • Valid Driver Card (Digital Tachograph)
  • Competence in securing loads
  • Flexibility in approach to work

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.00 (increasing to £14.00 upon permanent status)
  • Holidays and pension included
  • Overtime paid for hours worked beyond 17:30

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 17:30, with occasional Saturdays
