This exciting opportunity involves designing, delivering, and assessing undergraduate and postgraduate modules and programmes in Business and Management. The successful candidate will be expected to utilise innovative teaching methods, maintain up-to-date knowledge of subject areas, and ensure course content remains relevant and current.

Responsibilities:
  1. Teaching and Curriculum Development:
  • Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and workshops for assigned modules.
  • Collaborate with faculty members to design and update curricula, ensuring alignment with industry trends and academic excellence.
  • Assess student performance, providing constructive feedback to aid student growth and development.
Student Support and Guidance:
  • Act as an academic advisor and mentor to students, offering guidance on academic matters and professional aspirations.
  • Organise and participate in student engagement activities, promoting academic integrity and supporting student well-being.
  • Address individual student needs, referring students to support services as necessary.
Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:
  • Adhere to VCAD policies, procedures, and quality assurance standards.
  • Engage in peer review processes, sharing best practices and improving teaching methods.
  • Participate in teaching observation and evaluation processes, ensuring high-quality support and development of teaching practice.
Professional Development:
  • Participate in professional development activities, staying up-to-date with innovations and developments within higher education teaching and learning.
Administrative and Departmental Responsibilities:
  • Perform administrative duties related to teaching, timetable management, and module coordination.
  • Contribute to departmental goals, participating in open days, student recruitment, and induction events.
  • Support VCAD initiatives like diversity and inclusion efforts, digital learning, and community collaboration.
Estimated Salary:

£42,500 - £47,500 per annum, depending on experience.
