We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to lead and drive the People Agenda at our client's Bodmin site, a major player in the food production sector. This is a site-based role with a potential option for hybrid working (4 days on-site, 1 day remote per week), and an opportunity to shape and elevate a workplace culture where excellence is the norm.

About the Role:

As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for leading HR initiatives on-site to support and advance the organizational strategy, creating a truly Great Place to Work. You will empower the management team to reach their business goals, deliver a top-notch employee experience from recruitment to career development, and champion a culture of high performance and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement a strategic HR plan aligned with the Group's People Strategy.

  2. Support the entire employee journey, from onboarding to recognition, ensuring an exceptional employee experience.

  3. Develop a high-performing workforce by leading training initiatives that meet evolving business needs.

  4. Provide data-driven insights to guide management decisions and enhance performance.

  5. Mentor site managers, helping them to master people management skills that drive productivity and engagement.

Your Impact:

You will be essential in shaping an inclusive culture that celebrates diversity and growth, working closely with the Group HR team to bring people-focused initiatives to life.

What You Bring:
  • 3-5+ years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment.

  • Third-level HR qualification or equivalent.

  • Proven expertise in strategic workforce planning, people management, and organizational design.

The salary for this position is up to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a pension scheme, training & development opportunities, employee discounts, refer a friend bonus, long service awards, on-site canteen, and more.
