We are partnering with a well-established law firm to recruit a highly motivated Residential Conveyancing Solicitor (1-4 PQE) to join their expanding property team.  The firm offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with flexible location options in Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Remote.


Role Overview:


As a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, you will oversee a diverse range of residential property transactions, providing expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of buying, selling, and transferring residential property.  You will be responsible for handling cases from inception to completion, ensuring the smooth and efficient progression of transactions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
  • Provide clear, concise legal advice on all aspects of residential conveyancing, including title investigations, contract negotiations, and the handling of legal documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless process.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including sale contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgages.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and procedural requirements.
  • Maintain excellent client relationships and provide exceptional client service throughout the transaction process.
  • Support and mentor junior members of the team where appropriate.

Qualifications & Skills:


  • Qualified solicitor (1-4 PQE) with experience in residential conveyancing law.
  • Strong knowledge of property law and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and work efficiently to meet deadlines.
