Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Geography Educator to join our team at a successful 11-16 academy in South Manchester. As a Geography Educator, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding lessons in key stage 3 and GCSE Geography, as well as other humanities subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in key stage 3 and GCSE Geography
• Develop and implement innovative lesson plans to meet the changing needs of students
• Use Assessment for Learning to inform teaching and improve student outcomes
• Manage classroom behavior effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans

Requirements:

• QTS Status or QTLS
• Recent experience of teaching key stage 3 geography
• Ability to teach other humanities subjects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
