About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at Tesco. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring that our customers receive their shopping in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver customer shopping trips in a safe and efficient manner
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries and concerns
  • Ensure that the van and trays are clean and tidy at all times
  • Load and unload merchandise from the van in a safe and efficient manner
  • Operate a manual or automatic van in a safe and efficient manner
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery operations

Requirements

  • A valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise as required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use a handheld device
