Job Title: HGV Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team at The Best Connection. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for operating a 48,000LB vehicle to local areas, making deliveries and product pickups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Adhere to assigned delivery schedules and follow all job directives precisely.
  • Interact with dispatchers and others to ensure all tasks are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department.
  • Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Class 1 Driver (HGV) Licence.
  • 2 Years Class 1 driver experience.
Benefits:
  • Hourly rate of £15.50.
  • 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday).
  • Canteen facilities.
  • Ongoing Assignment.
  • Training Provided.
