We are a leading recruitment agency, CDH Recruitment Ltd, seeking an experienced and skilled Skip/RORO driver to join our team in the East Sussex and Kent areas. Our clients rely on us to provide top-notch services, and we need a reliable driver to help us meet their demands.
Main Responsibilities:
- To safely and efficiently transport materials and equipment required for our clients' businesses.
- Performing deliveries and collections to and from customer sites, and other locations as required, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Representing our company in a professional and courteous manner at all times to customers, the general public, and other road users.
- Inspecting equipment to ensure safe loading and unloading, and verifying that the total payload does not exceed vehicle weight limits.
- Securing loads using approved methods and checking paperwork to ensure accurate delivery and collection records.
- Accounting for all equipment on the vehicle and visually inspecting equipment being loaded and unloaded.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must have prior experience in skip operations.
- RoRo experience is highly desirable.
- Holds a valid full driving license in the UK, with no more than 6 points on the license.
- Holds a HGV Driving License.
- Holds a CPC License.
- Holds a Digi Taco Card.
- Able to perform manual handling tasks.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday.
