Job Title: Bid Writer

VanRath is seeking a skilled Bid Writer to join our client, a leading Main Contractor, in Magherafelt, Northern Ireland.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Bid Writer to work on a wide range of projects across multiple sectors. As a Bid Writer, you will be responsible for developing and agreeing winning bid strategies with senior management, coordinating and managing bid launch meetings, and preparing tender presentations and bid information to support tender interviews.

Responsibilities
  • Attend client team tender presentations and site visits
  • Develop and agree winning bid strategies with senior management
  • Agree tender and PQQ programmes and work to agreed deadlines
  • Coordinate and manage bid launch meetings
  • Prepare tender presentations and bid information to support tender interviews
  • Liaise with internal departments and external supply chain, design teams, and relevant subject matter experts to prepare optimum submissions
  • Prepare project and company case studies and bid library to enhance future tender and PQQ submissions
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in a construction-related or marketing course
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Excellent creative writing skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines
  • Proven ability to work under pressure
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Strong commercial acumen
