Job Summary

The Academy seeks an HLTA with previous experience in children's learning to join our Support Staff team. We require someone who is flexible, adaptable, and willing to be reflective, with the ability to work effectively in a close-knit school team for the benefit of all children at our school.

The role involves covering teachers' PPA 3 afternoons a week and 1 half-day to cover leadership time. This will involve responsibility for children's learning, as directed by the Headteacher/Assistant Headteacher/Class Teacher.

The post is part-time, with hours of work to be confirmed. The rate of pay is Dorset Grade 9, SCP 19-25 (£15.43 - £17.59 per hour) plus holiday pay pro-rata.

Qualifications in English/literacy and mathematics/numeracy, equivalent to at least Level 2 of the National Qualifications Framework, are required. The successful candidate will be assessed by an accredited Assessor as having met the HLTA standards.
