About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Curious Caterpillars Nursery. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone keen to start their career in childcare, working towards a nationally recognised qualification while earning a competitive salary.

The successful candidate will be provided with all the support they need to succeed, working alongside experienced qualified staff to assist and learn. The onsite training is either at a level 2 or a level 3 entry, depending on the applicant's previous experience, age, and any qualifications they have gained.

This full-time position offers a stimulating environment where you can help deliver play-based activities in line with the Early Years Framework, act as a buddy for a key worker, and communicate children's progress to the manager, room leader, and their parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering high-quality care and education to young children
  • Support the supervision of children during meals, indoors, and outdoors
  • Help create a safe and engaging environment for children to thrive

Requirements:

  • Nationally recognised qualification in childcare or equivalent
