Class 1 Driver Position

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to retail stores on curtain side and box trailers on single and double deck trailers.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering goods to retail stores on curtain side and box trailers on single and double deck trailers.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations.
- Attending regular training sessions.
- Must have a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Working to deadlines.
- Confident, polite and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
- Rate for Class 1 Driver is £207.07 per shift, working Saturdays and Sundays.
- Start time 04:00hrs.
- Overtime available Monday – Friday.
