Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Optical Lab Technician to provide high-quality lens and frame preparation services. The ideal candidate will have current or recent experience in an optical laboratory setting and be confident in the following responsibilities:

  • Accurately read lens and frame specifications from prescriptions received
  • Set and glaze lenses into frames with utmost precision and attention to detail
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments as required
  • Meet agreed timeframes to meet customer expectations


This is a full-time position paying £64 per hour, with working hours consisting of 37 hours per week. Benefits include Specsavers Perks, WeCare/LifeWorks, Eye and Ear care discounts, birthday leave, enhanced family leave, and company sick pay for eligible colleagues.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively within a team environment.
