Patient Services Coordinator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Services Receptionist to join our team at GenesisCare UK. As a key member of our cancer care centre, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient and professional receptionist duties, ensuring a smooth patient experience.
- Manage incoming calls, direct patients to the correct department, and maintain accurate records.
- Meet and greet patients, staff, doctors, and visitors, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
- Act as a patient liaison in the waiting area, completing paperwork, signposting, and communicating delays and taxi services.
- Utilize MOSAIQ to track wait times and ensure accurate patient information.
- Print and scan documents, maintain patient files, and liaise with taxi companies.
- Ensure patient questionnaires are completed, and maintain accurate records.
- Order stock for the reception area and maintain a well-stocked environment.
- Perform centre admin tasks, including post, SAP purchases, and Amazon orders.
- Review unresolved appointments daily and utilize Datix to log comments, concerns, and compliments.
- Maintain the daily fire box and centre checks, ensuring a safe environment.
- Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of patient details, adhering to GenesisCare processes.
- Work respectfully with team members, ensuring clear communication and effective working relations.
- Comply with partner hospital rules and policies, maintaining a professional working relationship.
- Follow departmental protocols, policies, and procedures, adhering to relevant guidelines.
- Undertake mandatory training and adhere to company standards.
- Occasionally work out of hours to resolve breakdowns or crises, ensuring minimal impact on service and treatments.
- Adhere to company standards regarding appearance, behavior, and demeanor.
- Perform other duties as required for this role.
- Work flexibly to achieve GenesisCare business objectives.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, adhering to GenesisCare policies and statutory legislation.
- Maintain security by following procedures and booking patients and visitors.
