Clinical Leadership Opportunity

**Job Summary**

First Clinical Ltd is seeking an experienced clinical leader to join our team as an Interim Divisional Director. This is a unique opportunity to drive forward divisional wide programmes of work and service direction, while promoting the continuous improvement in service delivery and quality within all areas of Pathology.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Be fully accountable for the operational performance of the Division, ensuring delivery of high quality patient focused services with clinical safety, clinical governance, clinical quality, and financial targets.

* Work closely with the Divisional Clinical Lead and members of the Divisional management team to drive forward divisional wide programmes of work and service direction.

* Act as the lead Manager for the Division, driving a strategically important network in the wider health economy, working in partnership with other stakeholder organisations to promote and develop strategic vision and business interests.

* Manage the scientific, laboratory operational management of the Cellular Pathology service, delivering an autonomous clinical technical service across all laboratory sites and as provided by Service Level Agreement or contract with other organisations.

* Work as a key member of the Senior Management Team, responsible for the effective operational management and strategic direction of pathology services.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership working.
