We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Specialist for Automation and Instrumentation projects to join our team in the UK.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and commissioning process control applications, with a strong focus on DCS/PLC architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting.

  • Technical degree in Electrical / Automation Engineering or equivalent (Control and Computer Control Systems, Mechatronic Engineering)
  • Open to relocating to different parts of the UK for varying durations to accommodate project needs
  • Relevant experience in developing and commissioning process control applications
  • Demonstrated expertise in DCS/PLC architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of instrumentation, measurements, analyzers, and control valves
  • Experience with process controls equipment including PLCs, DCSs, HMIs, SCADA systems, SQL relational database systems, and Network Hubs
  • Advanced level of English required
  • Knowledge of applicable codes related to automation and PLC programming (IEC 61131)
Requirements

  • Monitoring quality of works performed by contractors and compliance with national and international standards
