About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Centre Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for managing our security monitoring platform, prioritizing and responding to alerts and incidents, and investigating security system alerts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize and respond to all alerts and incidents raised in our monitoring platform.
  • Manage our MSSP & SIEM, developing rule bases and use cases.
  • Investigate other security system alerts, including Cloud, Brand Surveillance, and MSSP alerts.
  • Support investigations as and when required.
  • Support our InfoSec Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) team with audits.
  • Participate in security incident desktop exercises to test and improve our security systems and processes.
  • Improve our incident response playbooks.
  • Improve our security standards and procedures.
  • Participate in the team on-call rota.
Requirements
  • Experience working with SIEM and security monitoring technology.
  • Understanding of general security technologies, including EDR, DLP, and anti-virus.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and networking technologies.
  • High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
  • Ability to explain technical subjects in a clear, logical way.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for security.
