**Job Responsibilities**

The Hub Manager will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operational management of the QEPNT project, including assessing project needs, preparing timelines, identifying key milestones, and ensuring that deadlines and deliverables are achieved. You will work closely with the Principal Investigator and Director to provide leadership and direction to the operational and Business Development teams. To engage with new opportunities as they arise, you will be expected to develop and maintain an accurate spend profile for the project that meets funder requirements and ensure partner spend plans and commitments are delivered within budget. Furthermore, you will identify and resolve complex issues using specialist knowledge and a high degree of initiative. As part of the role, you will also develop and regularly review performance against the Hub's key performance indicators (KPIs), produce collated reports, and be the responsible owner for the risk management framework. Additionally, you will prepare and deliver written and oral reports on finances and project outcomes for the Hub Management Board, funders, and other stakeholders. A line management role includes overseeing the Hub Communications, Marketing and Outreach Manager and Hub Finance Coordinator. Lastly, you will develop and maintain relationships with key professional services staff within the University of Glasgow and other Higher Education Institutions to ensure efficient delivery of Hub objectives within local HEI processes and procedures.
