About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Strategy Risk Manager to join our team at NatWest. As a key member of our credit risk management team, you will play a critical role in driving the development of our credit risk strategies and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain risk and decision support models to support credit risk services to clients
  • Provide analytical insights and innovative solutions to achieve future strategic priorities
  • Support the management of portfolio credit risks, including bad debt provisions, risk-weighted assets, and costs
  • Ensure the NatWest personal credit risk portfolios continue to perform within risk limit frameworks
  • Drive active and effective change management through the successful design, development, and delivery of key strategic initiatives
  • Liaise and influence stakeholders across a diverse matrix structure
  • Provide insight and challenge where appropriate, driving the automation agenda
Requirements
  • Experience with coding languages and excellent analytical skills
  • Good understanding of the banking industry, its risk management, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience of working with external clients, developing their understanding of credit risk strategies and decisioning systems
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to work as a team and with stakeholders
  • Ability to explain technical subject matter to a non-technical audience
  • Experience in supporting and coaching businesses in a consultative role, supporting business development conversations and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to balance objectives
  • Excellent knowledge of the personal banking market place, the associated legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring credit initiatives, processes, and systems meet requirements
