Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Octavius Infrastructure, a leading civil engineering organisation in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial and contractual performance of projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage project finances, ensuring profit targets and efficiency savings are achieved.
- Oversee project financial performance, adhering to contractual timescales and administering change control.
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities effectively, conducting compliant procurement processes and selections.
- Deal with commercial queries and advise on legal matters, ensuring compliance with assurance processes, policies, and procedures.
- Effectively manage the Supply Chain and conduct audits, monitoring project progress and maintaining accurate financial logs.
- Build strong relationships with project teams, clients, and commercial team members, coaching and supporting junior team members.
- Proven success in a Quantity Surveying role, with experience in a civil engineering environment, preferably Highways.
- NEC contract knowledge and IT proficiency, with familiarity with cost management software.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent), with professional membership (e.g., RICS, CICES) and CSCS card (desirable).
