We are seeking a highly motivated Environmental Engineering Graduate to join our team at the Environment Agency. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in reducing flood risks and supporting our journey to becoming a carbon net-zero organisation by 2030.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to future flood defence projects, conducting financial benefit assessments and engaging with partners and communities.
  • Assess assets, propose solutions, and manage small construction projects to maintain critical flood defences.
  • Lead projects that protect communities, gaining experience in financial management, contract negotiation, and supplier coordination.

You will work alongside expert engineers and receive mentorship and support from our professional development advisors throughout the programme.
