**Job Title:** Building Senior Surveyor Role

**Salary Range:** £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

**Job Description:**

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Building Senior Surveyor to manage and oversee various projects across different sectors. The successful candidate will have a strong background in building surveying, with a focus on project management, technical expertise, and leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. A strong understanding of building regulations, planning laws, and contract administration is essential.

The role will involve managing complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supervising junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage and oversee various projects across different sectors, including commercial, residential, and industrial properties.
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to identify defects, issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement company policies, procedures, and best practices.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Chartered Building Surveyor (RICS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in building surveying, with a focus on project management and technical expertise.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of building regulations, planning laws, and contract administration.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
