Job Description

Quicktemp is partnering with leading logistics and transport firms in Ipswich and surrounding areas to offer HGV Class 1 drivers a range of adhoc and on-going bookings for day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport multi-temperature food stock to stores, including major delivery points like Tesco and Aldi.
  • Handle deliveries to various company distribution centres, ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods to a wide range of customers.
  • Shift patterns include days, late, and night starts.
  • Maintenance of a professional appearance is essential.

Pay Rates

Day: £17.00 PAYE £21.35 UMB

Nights: £18.00 PAYE £22.00 UMB

Weekends: £19.00 - £20.00 PAYE £24.00 UMB

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the UK.
  • Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license.
  • CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
  • Digital tachograph card.
Job Details

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

Pay: £17.00-£24.00 per hour

Schedule: 10 hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday, Night shift, Weekend availability

Experience: UK HGV Class 1 Driving: 2 years (required)
