Job Description:

The Technical Coordination Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimisation of technical activities at EDF EPR Engineering UK for the UK HPC EPR project.

They facilitate strong links between configuration management activities and the building or discipline they are working with.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design Change Management: The Technical Coordination Engineer covers Design Change Management, including piloting and coordinating technical aspects of Configuration (Design changes/Open points/Interfaces) between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a consistent and optimised design for the Project.
  • Coordination Meetings: Participation in coordination meetings organised by various parties involved in the project, such as modification committees and project decision meetings.
  • Progress Sharing: Presentation and sharing of progress, including KPI production and data analysis to support management and decision making.
  • Committee Work: Committees can include Change Management Boards, Nuclear Island Architecture Meeting, amongst others.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Takes part in managing experience feedback from previous projects.
Requirements:

An engineer with several years of experience in one or several engineering disciplines, which can include nuclear safety, electrical, mechanical, systems, civil, layout. Previous experience on the HPC project is essential, including the use of configuration management processes and tools.

Software and tools: Microsoft Word/Excel, 3D viewer, Change and open-point databases on the HPC project.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
