Key Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveying Expert, you will be responsible for providing commercial support and expertise for a portfolio of network engineering and construction projects at ScottishPower. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing monthly contractor measures
  • Leading commercial meetings with contractors
  • Recording contractual and commercial information
  • Monitoring contractual obligations
  • Assessing variations and claims
  • Making commercial recommendations
  • Preparing financial reports

We offer a competitive salary of £51,240 per annum, plus excellent benefits including 36 days annual leave, holiday purchase, and a share incentive plan. We also offer technology vouchers, cycle to work schemes, and access to savings plans.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant subject, significant experience in QS, and expertise working on FIDIC & NEC contracts. Strong numeracy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications are also essential.
