Job OverviewThis role involves providing exceptional patient care and supporting the dental team in maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Instrument Preparation and Sterilization: Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, disinfected, and stored.
- Surgery Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Medical Record Keeping: Accurately record patient information and maintain up-to-date records.
- Patient Support: Provide emotional support and reassurance to anxious or nervous patients.
- Adherence to Protocols: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with the dental team to ensure seamless practice operations.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on good oral hygiene practices and provide guidance on maintaining healthy teeth and gums.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient practice operations.
- Qualification: NEBDN or equivalent qualification.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
- Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work effectively within a team while also working independently when necessary.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining accurate records and ensuring a smooth-running practice.
- Patient-Centered Approach: A compassionate and patient-centered approach is vital for delivering exceptional patient care.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer skills and dental software is an advantage.
