Job Overview

We are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for students with autism in a vibrant primary school in Hackney.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with autism in their learning and development.
  • Assist in creating and implementing individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children with autism or other SEN.
  • A calm, empathetic and patient approach.
  • DBS check required.
