The Role

We're seeking a dynamic and ambitious Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store management team, you'll be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in driving sales performance and day-to-day operations. You'll deliver an outstanding customer experience, optimize KPI performance, and maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Store Manager in driving sales performance and day-to-day operations.
  • Take responsibility for the store and team in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Drive store performance by maximizing sales opportunities and optimizing KPI performance.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases.
  • Sell the story, not the discount, by demonstrating and sharing your passion for product with customers.
  • Support the recruitment, management, and development of the team.
  • Take accountability for the physical appearance and maintenance of the store.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the operational running of the store.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, processes, and complete mandatory training.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environment.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and service.
  • Understanding of retail KPIs and ability to drive improvements.
  • Prioritization and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • WSET 2 qualification is essential, with a willingness to work towards WSET 3 qualification.
  • Full UK/EU/EEA driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
