About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Year 5 Teacher to join our team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a class of students in Year 5, planning and delivering lessons that cater to their individual needs and abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach a class of students in Year 5, planning and delivering lessons that cater to their individual needs and abilities.
  • Develop and implement a topic-based curriculum that promotes creativity and critical thinking.
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, ensuring that all materials and resources are accessible to students.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers, keeping them informed of student progress and any concerns or issues that may arise.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A valid QTS and PGCE qualification.
  • A strong academic record, including a degree in a relevant subject area.
  • Experience of teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Year 5.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
