Job Title: Long Haul Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Driver to join our team at Greenergy. As a Long Haul Driver, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of various fuels to commercial customer sites in line with Greenergy's delivery procedures across a geographical area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of various fuels to a variety of commercial customers.
  • Loading and making deliveries in a safe and professional manner.
  • Adhering to both legal and Company policies at all times and ensuring that all vehicle checks are completed, and defects are reported in a timely manner.
  • The delivery of quality customer service whilst demonstrating a 'can do' attitude.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures at all times.
  • To safely operate the vehicle and depot equipment as required, following Greenergy's standard procedures at all times.
  • To build effective relationships with internal colleagues across the business to ensure smooth operations.
  • Accurate completion of all delivery paperwork.
Requirements:
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Full UK with LGV Cat C+E and a minimum of two years commercial Class 1 driving experience.
  • Valid and up to date CPC and Digi Card.
  • A good understanding of driver regulations and the Working Time Directive Skills and Digital Tacho Cards.
  • Must be professional, flexible and self-motivated.
  • Basic IT knowledge is required as you will be operating in cab technology.
  • No penalty points.
  • Must hold a valid in date ADR Certificate.
  • Experience in transportation of Dangerous Goods.
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety.
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
